We had our first taste of Vietnam during a whistle-stop tour in 2015. We put together a 2 week itinerary (with a little help from various holiday brochures) taking in Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, Hoi An & Hanoi. We instantly fell in love with the place & vowed to visit again soon.

We were lucky enough to have the chance again later that year following our redundancy. This time at a much more leisurely pace over a month.

It’s difficult to pinpoint what got us hooked, it was a combination of the friendly people, stunning scenery & tasty food. The diversity of the country was a big surprise, from the hustle and bustle of HCMC to the ancient city of Hoi An, and the serenity of both Halong Bay & the Sapa mountains.

This still wasn’t enough to satisfy, so early in 2019 we get to do it again! Revisiting some favorite spots along with discovering new places. This time over 3 months allowing us to do all journeys by bus or train, embracing the full experience.
